Veneers

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain made to fit over the front surface of a tooth to improve the colour, shape and position of stained or chipped teeth.

Held in place by a strong bond, very little preparation is needed with veneers, making it an ideal solution when looking for a healthy, life-like appearance.

Treatment with veneers usually takes two visits: the first visit is to prepare the tooth and take impressions and the second visit is to fit the veneer. Bonding the veneer in place is done with special dental adhesives, which glue it permanently to the tooth. Temporary veneers are not generally required in-between visits, as preparation of the tooth does not affect the aesthetics of your smile.
