Paul Barnes is a registered Specialist in Periodontics and has been involved with implant dentistry for more than 15 years.
Paul qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1987. He was awarded his Master’s degree in Periodontology and a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992. He is a partner at Ringley Park Dental Practice and an honorary clinical lecturer in the Department of Continuing Professional Development, Eastman Dental Hospital, London.
Paul has undertaken advanced training in periodontal regeneration in Switzerland and in implantology in the USA, Switzerland and Sweden. He is secretary to the general practitioners’ section of the British Society of Periodontology and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the British Dental Association, the European Association for Osseointegration, the Association of Dental Implantology and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Paul serves as a mentor for the ITI in Surrey. He has also assisted in leading a dental volunteer programme for Bridge2Aid, a registered charity, in Mwanza, Tanzania.
Married with three children, he enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, cycling and sailing.
Caroline qualified from the Faculty of Dentistry, Jagiellonian University in 2004. Her particular interests are in aesthetic, restorative dentistry and providing holistic dental care. She attends many dental meetings and is currently studying for a MSc in Orthodontics.
Caroline enjoys working with children, ensuring the best preventive practices are developed from an early age. She uses orthopaedic orthodontic treatment to aid the correct development of children’s jaws. For her adult patients, as a certified Invisalign and Smile-Tru provider, she is able to choose from an array of removable and fixed orthodontic systems to assist in orthodontic corrections.
Keen to work with nervous and anxious patients, Caroline uses the Wand for virtually pain-free anaesthesia and offers sedation options for their dental treatment.
Caroline is a member of the British Society of Dental Sleep Medicine and offers a range of solutions for snoring adults and children and screens for obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) in adults.
As a general dental practitioner, she works with dental specialists, medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals to provide you with the appropriate care you require for a healthy and happy smile.
Caroline is a member of the British Society for the Study of Cranio-Mandibular Disorders, London Dental Fellowship, British Orthodontic Society, The International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (protocoling the removal of dental amalgam), British Society for Mercury Free Dentistry, the Faculty of Homeopathy, British Society for Ecological Medicine, British Dental Bleaching Society and associate member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Caroline’s passion for rock climbing, cycling, skiing and water sports has given her the chance to travel and explore parts of the world off the beaten track and to challenge herself in the natural environment. She also enjoys live music and theatre.
Simon graduated from the University of Bristol in 2006 and has since worked within the private sector, delivering dental care to the towns of Wallington, Dorking and the surrounding areas.
Simon is particularly interested in the use of minimally invasive techniques to restore teeth to a sound function, using the latest materials to maintain a high level of aesthetics. Simon has also completed and passed the written assessment of the Key Skills component of the Membership of Joint Dental Faculty (MJDF) examination in 2007 and keeps up-to-date with new techniques, materials and procedures.
During his training at Bristol, Simon displayed a high standard of dental case treatment planning when he finished top of his senior year in his final restorative viva exams. Simon’s number one commitment is to plan customised care for each patient and provide treatment that reflects his ability to plan successfully for a healthy mouth.
Simon brings with him an enthusiasm and dedication in which his patients have confidence and reassurance. His outgoing and caring personality will ensure that any concerns you may have, regarding your dental health, will be handled professionally.
A keen sportsman, Simon can often be found at Cheam Sports Club where he plays tennis to county standard and assists with the club’s junior coaching programme at weekends. He is also seeking to improve his golf and enjoys playing at courses local to his home in Banstead village.
Henk attended the University of Pretoria from 1980 to 1987, attaining the Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Science degree (BChD). He opened a bespoke private dental practice in South Africa in 1990 and was one of the first dentists to use CEREC® Cad/Cam computer technology to design and restore teeth with ceramic porcelain. Henk trained in the USA, Switzerland and Sweden in the implant field with a special interest in aesthetic and reconstructive implant dentistry linked with orthodontics.
Henk gained postgraduate qualifications (PDD Clin Dent) in 1999 at the University of Stellenbosch and a Master’s Degree in Dental Implantology (MSc) at the University of Warwick in 2006. He also attended the Pankey Institute (Florida) from 2001-2005 and is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI). Henk is a certified Invisalign practitioner.
Henk is married to Lize, a renowned Fine Artist from South Africa. Between them they have six children. In addition to their love of live music performances, both enjoy the opera, good food and fine wine. Henk’s interests include travel, skiing and golf – he is a member of Walton Heath Golf Club. He also holds a private pilot’s licence, is a keen amateur photographer and an active amateur sculptor.

Khalid graduated from Sheffield University in 2001.
He subsequently embarked on his vocational training and gained invaluable experience as a Senior House Officer in Restorative Dentistry at the esteemed Leeds Dental Institute.
Khalid transitioned to comprehensive general dental treatment, catering to a diverse range of patient needs. His dedication and expertise led him to establish a thriving dental practice in Wakefield.
Notably, Khalid’s career saw him contributing to global healthcare working for John Hopkins Aramco Health Care in the Middle East. His commitment to excellence earned him the distinguished Patient’s Choice recognition for Top Dentists, a prestigious accolade awarded for three consecutive years.
Khalid is a general dentist with a special interest in implant and restorative dentistry.
Khalid lives in Wallington with his family. His hobbies include watching movies, travelling and he has a keen interest in automobiles.
Zohaib graduated with distinction from Kings College London in 2011 being awarded the S J Kaye prize, Alfred Woodhouse prize and was Proxime Accessit to the University of London Gold Medal.
Following foundation dental training, he completed the Diploma to attain Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He further advanced surgical training working as a Maxillofacial Senior House Officer across hospitals in East Kent. During this time, he completed his first Master’s degree in Primary Dental Care. In 2024, he completed his MSc in Dental Implantology with the University of Salford.
Zohaib is a general dentist with a special interest in Restorative dentistry and Prosthodontics and holds a clinical Master’s degree in fixed and removable Prosthodontics. He provides a range of treatments with particular interest in the management of tooth wear by utilising minimally invasive and aesthetic techniques.
Zohaib is actively involved in training dentists having held posts as an undergraduate clinical tutor at Kings College London as well as an MSc supervisor with the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery. He is currently a postgraduate tutor at Kings’ for those studying the distance learning Prosthodontics Master’s degree. He is actively involved in dental research, having published articles in scientific journals as well as being asked to peer review for the European Journal of Prosthodontics.
Zohaib lives in Kent with his wife and young son. He enjoys keeping fit at the gym, travelling and trips to the theatre.
Drusilla gained a place at Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1998. Since qualifying in 2004, she has worked in general practice.
She began her career as a Dental Technician. She trained at Trinity College Dublin, undertaking a 3-year diploma course and achieving a Distinction. On completing the course, she was awarded a further scholarship year to work in the Dublin Dental Hospital, undertaking more complicated technical training.
Drusilla moved to the UK in 1993 to take up a position in the Crown and Bridge Laboratory at the Eastman Dental Hospital where she completed her HNC in Dental Technology before moving on to Guy’s Dental School.
Drusilla also works as a Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London, Guy’s Campus, teaching undergraduate dental students. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry using the skills she developed as a technician.
She particularly enjoys working in practice where she can build relationships with patients ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed.
Drusilla enjoys skiing and hiking in the mountains with her husband and two children.
Alan graduated in dentistry from Birmingham University in 2005. After a couple of years in general practice, he took up several oral and maxillofacial posts in hospital, gaining experience in all aspects of oral surgery and the treatment of anxious patients with dental sedation.
From here Alan went on to complete his postgraduate specialist training in Endodontics at Guy’s Dental Hospital, passing with distinction in 2018. Alan is registered with the GDC as a specialist in Endodontics and is a member of the British Endodontic Society.
Alan welcomes referrals for all aspects of endodontic treatment including vital pulp therapy, non-surgical and surgical treatments, resorption cases and dental trauma. His research at Guy’s was based around CBCT and outcome of treatments and he enjoys using CBCT to aid in the diagnosis and management of complex cases.
Alan lives in Kent and is married with two children. He enjoys rugby, cricket and attempting to play golf.
Eva qualified as a dentist in 2005 from the University of Granada, Spain and obtained her Diploma in Advanced Studies in General Dentistry (DEA) in 2011. She worked for several years in private practice in Spain, covering all aspects of general dentistry. During this time, she obtained further training and clinical skills in cosmetic dentistry, paediatrics, endodontics and periodontology.
In 2013 she moved to the UK where she worked in General Dental Practice and in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. Following these posts, she commenced her Specialist training in Periodontology in 2015. During this time she has presented several projects in national and international conferences. She was awarded a special mention recognition and the second prize for her clinical poster presentations at the Spanish Society of Periodontology conferences held in 2017 and 2018, and more recently, her research linking periodontal disease and hypertension has been published recently in high impact scientific journals.
Eva gained a distinction in Periodontology from the Eastman Dental Institute in 2018. She further obtained the Specialist Accreditation MPerio RCS (Ed) and subsequently registered with the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Periodontology. She completed her PhD studies at the International University of Cataluña (UIC) and the Eastman Dental Institute jointly in 2021.
She is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), as well as the British and Spanish Periodontology Societies (BSP and SEPA), and currently is a Clinical Lecturer at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, where she continues to expand her interest in academic teaching and research.
Eva specialises and enjoys all aspects of periodontology, with particular emphasis on regeneration of periodontal tissues and soft tissue grafting around teeth and implants.
Maalini graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011 with Honours and was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal in Dentistry. By subsequently working in various hospitals in the South of England, including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, she developed her experience in several disciplines including maxillofacial surgery, restorative dentistry and paediatric dentistry.
Maalini completed her paediatric specialist training at the University of Bristol Dental Hospital in 2018 and was registered as a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry by the General Dental Council. She then completed her consultant training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 2020 and was awarded the Fellowship in Paediatric Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons, London.
Maalini was appointed as a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at King’s College Hospital, London in 2020. As part of this role, she has an interest in the management of dental trauma and the provision of care for children with additional needs.
Maalini is an active member of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry, currently serving as Treasurer to the South East Branch. She is passionate about providing high quality dentistry for children in a friendly environment whilst instilling a life-long positive dental attitude.
Maalini lives in Surrey and a is a keen runner.
Gao graduated from King’s College London. He then embarked on a journey to undertake further specialist training at the Eastman Dental Institute where he completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology, with his specialist registration expected at the end of 2024.
His dedication to patient care and professional development led him to serve as a dental officer at the University of Malaya, where he shared his experience with the dental community.
With a strong foundation in dentistry and a passion for periodontology, Gao aims to achieve a well-rounded approach to both his professional and personal life.
Beyond his professional achievements, Gao enjoys music and sports. He is an avid tennis player and finds joy and relaxation in these pursuits outside of his daily practice.

Michele began her career as a dental nurse at Ringley Park in 1992.
Having qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse and Sedation Nurse, she then decided to pursue a career in hygiene and went on to graduate from the Royal Army Dental Corps in 1996.
Michele has been a hygienist at Ringley Park for over 10 years.
Michele is married with three children. Family commitments play a huge role in her life. Swimming, long walks with the dog and holidays are also a priority.
Kate began her career as a dental nurse at Ringley Park in 2000 and her enthusiasm for the role soon grew.
After completing several nursing exams, Kate decided to progress in her career, opting for a more hands-on role in patient care. She gained a place at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London, in 2006 where she trained as a hygienist. Kate graduated in 2008, winning the School of Hygiene’s Clinical Student prize and returned to Ringley Park in 2009.
Kate is committed to her career and enjoys the job satisfaction that goes with it, particularly when treating anxious patients who appreciate her gentle approach. She continues to attend annual lectures and seminars to aid her professional development.
Kate is married to Paul, has two children and treasures the precious time she shares with them.
Polly worked in Reigate for three years as a dental nurse before taking the decision to train as a dental hygienist.
Polly qualified at the Eastman Dental Hospital London in 2000 and joined the Ringley Park team in 2004.
Polly is committed to the prevention of dental problems and educating our patients to help them achieve excellent oral health. Her encouraging and gentle approach is appreciated by our patients.
Polly lives in Redhill with her husband and two young children.
Sorina trained as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in London.
She is passionate about her role in supporting and motivating patients to achieve optimal oral health and, as a health care provider, believes in taking a holistic approach in dentistry and tailoring treatment needs to each patient, including those who are particularly anxious.
Sorina has worked with children and enjoys educating and treating young patients. She is passionate about prevention and equipping patients with the necessary information and tools to support them in achieving a healthy mouth.
In her spare time, Sorina enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling and is learning how to play the flute!
Debbie began her career as a dental nurse. Having qualified as a registered dental nurse she then wanted to further her career. She graduated as a dental hygienist from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2001.
She was awarded the prize for both clinical work and the written exam. Debbie has continued to enhance her knowledge updating both theory and clinical skills on a regular basis. Debbie has worked in private practice in both Surrey and London, joining Ringley Park in 2022.
Debbie is married with grown up twins, 2 dogs and a horse. She loves spending time with her family and her animals. Travel, yoga and open water swimming are particular passions of hers.
