COVID-19 – update
Ringley Park Dental Practice is open to all our patients for urgent and non-urgent dental care. If you need an appointment, continue to book as usual, either online or by phone. As we continue to return to normal activity our rigorous infection control and social distancing measures remain in place, and we continue to deliver safe, high quality dental care.

We are OPEN --- Due to our robust Standard Operating Procedures protecting you and our team during any lockdown restrictions, Ringley Park Dental Practice will remain open and caring for our patients.

Your safety is our priority and we have put in place specific measures to safeguard our patients and staff. We are now booking all appointments, including routine appointments and specialist referrals. Hygiene appointments are also now available and in line with current guidance our hygienists will involve hand scaling, which is a highly effective alternative to using aerosol generating equipment.
In order to safeguard our most vulnerable patients we are offering specific appointment times at the beginning of the day and at the start of the afternoon sessions; should you require one of these appointments please let the receptionist know when you book.
Our paediatric Specialist, Emma Ray Chaudhuri is also offering routine examinations and treatment for children.
During these difficult times your visit to Ringley Park Dental Practice will be slightly different than you are used to, but we are the same team with the same high standards dedicating to caring for you.
Before your appointment is made, a clinical team member will call you to discuss your case and arrange an appropriate time for you to attend.

Before you attend
You will receive an email giving you access to our new patient portal – this is very easy to use. All correspondence will be sent to you via the portal, you simply need to update or complete the forms and email them back through the same portal.
The first time you complete the forms it may take a few minutes, but after that, each time you attend you will only need to update them and email them back via the portal.

  • Health questionnaire (you may have done these before, but you will need to do this again through the new system. Before subsequent visits you will simply need to update)
  • Consent form
  • Personal Details form
  • Data Protection form

Please make sure you ‘save’ each page before moving to the next form

Within the portal there is a video showing how to use the portal, fortunately so far patients have not needed to watch this as the portal is very user friendly.
Please fill your forms out and email them back as soon as possible, as if you attend and any of the forms are incomplete or missing, you will be asked to complete them before you are seen.

If you are able to pay for your planned treatment over the phone prior to attending this will really help to minimise contact in the practice. Any adjustments to your account after your appointment can be made over the phone.

Visiting the practice
Please attend alone unless there are exceptional circumstances. Family or friends can wait in your car, but our waiting rooms and bathroom facilities are closed.
You will notice on the portal that you can check yourself in (within 30 minutes of your appointment) from your car when you arrive. If you prefer, you can come into the glass entrance and knock on the glass, the front inner door will remain locked. Please announce yourself through the glass and then return to your car and wait to be called via your mobile phone.
Once you are called, please leave all belongings in your car, apart from a payment card and enter the glass porch at the front of reception. Please sanitise your hands with the sanitiser provided and wait for the nurse who will come to collect you. Once you step into the practice, the nurse may take your temperature as a precaution.
Please follow the nurse directly into the surgery.

When you leave
Your dentist may book further appointments for you, or you may be telephoned by one of the reception team to make a future appointment.
If you need to settle your account please respect social distancing at reception.

We look forward to seeing you and thank you in advance for your co-operation.
