We all have someone who is hard to buy for. And with Christmas just around the corner, the pressure of buying the perfect present can be overwhelming especially when everyone seems to have everything! Well, this year why not treat someone you love to the gift of a smile that will last well into 2022? Here at Ringley Park, we offer many different tooth whitening packages to suit your loved one and your budget!

There are many different routes you can take with tooth whitening. One of the simplest ways is through our prescription ‘at-home’ whitening service, which allows you to lighten your teeth by up to four shades. We take impressions of your teeth at the surgery and then, once the custom-made trays are ready, we’ll give you a prescription whitening gel for home use, for a set period of time. Generally, the process takes around three weeks, however, in some cases additional whitening might be needed, to be agreed upon with your dentist.

Our comprehensive whitening service is the Enlighten Evolution treatment which guarantees the ideal ‘B1’ shade that many people desire. This treatment takes three visits. On your first visit, we’ll take impressions of your teeth, which are sent to Enlighten where a bespoke set of whitening trays will be made. Following your second visit you’ll be sent home with the trays for two weeks to administer as directed.

At your third visit, your dentist may or may not recommend further use of the trays depending on how your teeth have progressed. After this treatment most people can expect their teeth to be eight shades whiter! When your Enlighten treatment is complete you will be given a tube of the Enlighten White toothpaste to continue using at home, which will help maintain your shade well into the New Year.

Although whitening kits are becoming more and more popular, it’s important that you have whitening treatment overseen by a dental professional. Prescription whitening, like all the treatments we offer here at Ringley Park, can only be carried out by a dentist or hygienist who is GDC registered. And, unlike treatments bought from the internet, whitening which is overseen by a registered professional will offer you the highest quality results with the best quality care.

To keep your teeth looking their best for as long as possible post whitening, it’s important to maintain a good oral health routine to keep your teeth in the best condition possible.
